AUBURN, Ala. - Head coach Clint Myers and the Auburn softball program have announced the schedule for Alumni Weekend, Sept. 30-Oct. 2.
The schedule is set to begin on Friday with a social gathering at 8 p.m. for alumni of the program, including a guest of their choosing, at a location to be determined.
On Saturday, alumni can come and watch the 2016-17 softball team practice at a time yet to be announced. Following practice, there will be an alumni tailgate three hours prior to the Auburn versus Louisiana-Monroe football game.
The weekend will wrap up on Sunday with a busy day on the diamond. First, there will be a pre-game warm-up and batting practice from 9:30-10:30 a.m. There will then be a slow pitch softball game from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., where the alumni will be broken up into two different teams.
At 1 p.m., the alumni squad will square off with current members of the Tiger softball team to conclude the weekend.
