AUBURN, Ala. -- The Auburn women's golf team concludes the fall portion of its season this week as the Tigers travel to San Antonio for the Maryb S. Kauth Invitational, which runs Sunday-Tuesday.

The Tigers, ranked No. 32 in the latest GolfStat rankings and No. 36 in Golfweek, look to end what has been a highly successful fall season on a high note. Auburn has three top-five finishes in four events, including a pair of runner-up showings.

Freshman Elena Hualde and junior Michaela Owen lead Auburn into this week's event with matching scoring averages of 72.45. Hualde has a tournament victory under her belt, and Owen has a pair of top-10s and four top-20 finishes so far this season.

Freshman Kayley Marschke and junior Kelli Murphy will also be making their fifth appearances of the fall. Marschke got her first collegiate top-20 and Murphy recorded her best collegiate tournament total at the Pinehurst Challenge two weeks ago. Senior Clara Baena will take the fifth spot in the Auburn lineup this week as she makes her third appearance of the fall.

Along with Auburn and host UTSA, this week's field includes Arkansas, Houston, Kansas State, LSU, Mississippi State, Old Dominion, SMU, TCU, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Texas State and Tulane.

Auburn's last appearance in this event in 2014 saw the Tigers put together a record-setting tournament, recording a team score of 850 (-14) for the second-best team total in program history. The Tigers also played at Briggs Ranch Golf Club in the 2015 NCAA San Antonio Regional.
