AUBURN, Ala. - For the second consecutive season under head coach Clint Myers, the Auburn softball program has sold out of season tickets for the upcoming 2017 season.
"We're very excited about selling out Jane B. Moore Field," said Myers. "It's going to be another exciting year for Auburn softball and will be an interesting start to the season with such a young team."
For the fourth consecutive season, there has been an increase in total number of season tickets sold since tickets were available for purchase during the 2014 season. The total amount of season tickets sold has now exceeded 1,400 with chairback seating once again sold out to returning season ticket holders.
Fans looking to purchase single game or mini packages can still do so, beginning with the opening month of 2017.
Pick-6 mini packages are slated to go on sale Jan. 10, while single game tickets will be made available for purchase Jan. 17. There is limited availability of reserved seats for non-conference games, while standing room tickets will be available for SEC contests.
The first home game of the season is set for Feb. 16 when the Tigers welcome SIU-Edwardsville for a 6 p.m. showdown.
Auburn then hosts three consecutive tournaments in successive weekends as the Plainsman Invitational (Feb. 17-19), Tiger Invitational (Feb. 24-26) and Wilson/DeMarini Classic (March 3-5) all take place at Jane B. Moore Field.
