Auburn leads 159-151-4 in a series that days back to 1896. The Tigers trail 71-86 in games played in Athens. Auburn has won the last two series and four of the last five dating back to 2010. The Tigers have taken 10 of the last 15 games in that span as well. Five of the last seven series meetings have resulted sweeps with Georgia recording three (2006, 2007, 2012) and Auburn two (2010, 2015). The Tigers have won 12 of the 19 series since 1994 and own a 5-4 series edge in Athens
LOOKING AHEAD
Auburn squares off with rival Alabama in the 2017 Capital City Classic at Montgomery's Riverwalk Stadium. The Tigers are 7-1 all-time in the event including a 10-1 victory in 2016. Alabama is 11-10 on the year and travels to No. 7 South Carolina this weekend after being swept by MIzzou to open SEC play.
