  • Auburn, winner of eight in a row, plays its first road series of the season away from Plainsman Park as it heads to Georgia for a three-game SEC set. All three games will be available on SECN+/WatchESPN.

Five of the last seven series meetings have resulted sweeps with Georgia recording three (2006, 2007, 2012) and Auburn two (2010, 2015). The Tigers have won 12 of the 19 series since 1994 and own a 5-4 series edge in Athens

LOOKING AHEAD

Auburn squares off with rival Alabama in the 2017 Capital City Classic at Montgomery's Riverwalk Stadium. The Tigers are 7-1 all-time in the event including a 10-1 victory in 2016. Alabama is 11-10 on the year and travels to No. 7 South Carolina this weekend after being swept by MIzzou to open SEC play.
