March 6, 2017 Ashlee Swindle is making the most of her first year on campus with the Tigers. The former Alabama Gatorade Softball Player of the Year has appeared in sevem games for Auburn in the circle and boasts a 1.80 ERA through the first three weeks of the season. Auburn Tigers: What led you to choose Auburn over other schools you considered?
Ashlee Swindle: When I came here on my visit, I just felt like it was home. Everybody just felt welcoming and I really liked their food here. My best friend was coming here and I love the coaching staff so it was just the best fit for me.
AT: Do you have any favorite Coach Myers quotes right now?
AS: No, not yet. I'm too new right now.
AT: Who's the loudest player on the team?
AS: Probably Haley or Vic.
AT: If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would you choose?
AS: Pizza.
AT: If you were to create an all-star softball team, who would be your first three selections?
AS: Let's seeÃÆ'¢Ãƒ¢'¬¦Jennie Finch for sure. That's hard! I don't know the other two.
AT: If you could have any zoo animal as a pet, what would you choose?
AS: Panda.
AT: What's your dream career?
AS: My dream career is human resources management or director, hiring people and training them.
