"Those guys obviously got the better of us," head coach Bruce Pearl said. "Offensively, I thought we did ok. We got to the rim, we got to the foul line, we scored 95 points, but we rushed so many three balls. I don't think we got really good looks from the three. I think we were rushed and discombobulated. It was a good exhibition and it was good exposure for us. It showed a lot of our weaknesses."

Anfernee McLemore chimed in with 17 points and seven rebounds. Bryce Brown rounded out the double-figure scoring with 10 points. DeSean Murray guided the team on the glass with eight rebounds.

Harper provided the helping hand on offense with a team-high seven assists.

Auburn shot 45 percent from the field and made 32 free throws, including 10 made by Harper.

Barry was paced by Sawyer Glick who scored 32 points. Elvar Fridriksson contributed 26 points with eight assists.

As a team, the Bucs made 16 3-pointers, including eight make by Glick.

The Tigers held a 41-38 lead heading into halftime and led by the same margin at 84-81 in the final seconds. However, a three by Glick at the buzzer went through the net and forced the game into overtime.

In the extra period, Auburn was outscored 16-11 and fell by a final score of 100-95.

The Tigers officially begin the season at home Nov. 10 when they take on Norfolk State. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. CT at Auburn Arena.
