AUBURN, Ala. ÃÆ'Æ'¢ÃƒÆ'¢'¬" Junior Caitlin Boyle of the No. 5 Auburn equestrian team was named the SEC Equitation on the Flat Rider of the Month for November, the league office announced Wednesday.
The Hampshire, Ill., product picked up the second SEC Flat ROTM on her career after going a perfect 3-0 in the event last month.
Boyle kicked off the month with a 74-73 victory at then-No. 2 Texas A&M, securing Most Outstanding Performer honors on the road. She followed with a season-best 86 points in her win against No. 1 Georgia. That point total is the second most by a Tiger this season.
Boyle capped the month with another road victory, defeating Billi Brandner of then-No. 10 South Carolina, 72-57.
At the conclusion of the fall season, Boyle stands at 6-0 in the event with three victories vs. SEC opponents. In addition, she is 5-1 in Equitation Over Fences to lead the team.
The Tigers return to competition in January and will head to Alabama for a Hunt Seat-only exhibition meet, Jan. 19. The team will follow with a busy weekend on the road, facing Baylor (Feb. 2) and Oklahoma State (Feb. 3) away from the Plains.
