A total of 13 Auburn swimmers will return for Saturday night's finals session at the SEC Swimming and Diving Championships at Texas A&M. Auburn will have five women in the B Final and three women in the C Final while the men return two to the B Final and three to the C Final.
Bailey Nero and Jewels Harris will both return for tonight's 200 fly competition. Nero will be in the B Final after going 1:56.97 while Harris grabbed a spot in the C Final with a career best 1:59.35.
Foster Ballard and Luis Martinez will each swim in the C Final of the men's 200 fly. Ballard clocked a 1:44.94 and Martinez a 1:46.14 to advance, with Ballard swimming in lane 4 tonight.
Erin Falconer, Sonnele Oeztuerk and Haley Black each posted career bests in the 100 back prelims to earn return trips tonight. Falconer's 52.68 makes her the ninth-fastest performer in Auburn history and places her in the B Final with Oeztuerk (53.04). Black will be in the C Final after swimming a 54.00.
Petter Fredriksson will represent Auburn in the B Final of the 100 back after posting a 47.44.
All three of Auburn's entrants in the women's 100 breaststroke will swim at night. Breanna Roman (1:00.98) and Carly Cummings (1:01.25) will each be in the B Final, with Cummings posting a career best time, and Brooke Malone (1:01.52) will be in the C Final.
Both of the men's entrants in the 100 breaststroke will also return tonight after posting career best times. Tommy Brewer will be in the B Final after his 53.07 and Spencer Rowe in the C Final after has 54.01.
Finals begin at 6 p.m. tonight and will also include platform diving and the 400 medley relay.
