Auburn's series win against LSU was the team's first since 2012 and secured third place in the SEC West, marking the team's highest finish in the division since 2011 ... the Tigers' 37 regular season wins are also the most since 2010 (38) and the fourth most since the turn of the century ... Auburn hit .333 in the series and scored nine runs per game ... the team also turned in a 3.67 staff ERA ... Tanner Burns picked up the win after throwing 6.0 innings in the series opener while Cody Greenhill took care of the final 3.0 innings and got the save ... it was the fourth SEC game in the last six weeks the freshman duo combined to pitch all 9.0 innings in a conference win ... Burns and Greenhill also pitched all but 0.2 innings in a win vs. Vanderbilt during the span ... Will Holland went 10-for-14 from the plate and had three or more hits in all three games, including a career-high four hits in the series opener and a two-home-run game in the finale ... he is riding a six-game hitting streak and has multiple hits in four of the last five ...
