Auburn Baseball Summer League Update - Aug. 7

Elliott Anderson: Santa Barbara Foresters, California Collegiate League
Season stats (9 games): 2-1, 3.07 ERA, 14.2 IP, 10 H, 6 R, 5 ER, 6 BB, 17 K
Anderson didn't allow an earned run in his first four appearances for the Foresters and was selected for the California Collegiate League Prospect Game. He turned in a perfect inning of relief and struck out a pair in his most recent appearance vs. Dodge City in the NBC World Series on Sunday.
 
Carter Bowen: Lima Locos, Great Lakes League (Finished)
Season stats (10 games): 1-1, 2.21 ERA, 20.1 IP, 14 H, 7 R, 5 ER, 6 BB, 21 K
Bowen did not allow an earned run in his last two appearances for the Locos. He finished his summer action among the team leaders in strikeouts with 21, including two in each of his last two appearances.
 
Tanner Burns: USA Baseball Collegiate National Team (Finished)
Season stats (4 games): 0-0, 5.87 ERA, 7.2 IP, 9 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 1 BB, 6 K
Burns pitched 2.0 perfect innings with three strikeouts in his Collegiate National Team debut vs. the Coastal Plain League Select on June 27. He also helped close out a sweep of Chinese Taipei with 2.2 innings of work on July 2. Burns threw 0.2 scoreless innings vs. Cuba on July 10 and capped off the summer with 2.1 innings of work on July 14. 
 
Davis Daniel: Chatham Anglers, Cape Cod League (Finished)
Season stats (4 games): 0-1, 2.29 ERA, 15.2 IP, 9 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 4 BB, 15 K
Daniel surrendered just two hits in his first 11.2 innings for the Anglers. However, he allowed four earned runs over 4.0 innings in a loss during his final start on July 11 against Wareham.  

Conor Davis: Santa Barbara Foresters, California Collegiate League (Finished)
Season stats (22 games): .278/.346/.458, 14 R, 20 H, 4 2B, 3 HR, 21 RBI, 7 BB, 17 K
Along with teammate Elliott Anderson, Davis was also selected to the California Collegiate League Prospect Game. He drove in eight RBI over the span of four games on July 10-14 and collected his 21st RBI on his fourth double of the summer on July 20 vs. the Orange County Surf.

Peyton Glavine: Falmouth Commodores, Cape Cod League (Finished)
Season stats (1 game): 0.00 ERA, 1.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 1 SO
Glavine pitched a scoreless inning of relief and struck out a batter in his Cape Cod League debut on June 15 vs. Wareham. 

Chase Hall: Alpharetta Aviators, Sunbelt League (Finished)
Season stats (25 games): .274/.342/.397, 8 R, 20 H, 6 2B, 1 HR, 12 RBI, 5 BB, 14 K
In 22 games for the Aviators, Hall tied for the team lead in RBI (11) and ranked seventh on the squad in batting average (.265). He also competed in a pair of Southeast Prospect Showcases this summer and went a combined 2-for-5 with two runs scored and one RBI in three games. Hall went 2-for-7 over the last two games of the season with a double and drove in a run.  

Ryan Hoerter: Danville Dans, Prospect League (Finished)
Season stats (3 games): 0-2, 3.85 ERA, 9.1 IP, 6 H, 6 R, 4 ER, 5 BB, 11 K
Hoerter didn't allow an earned run and struck out nine batters in his first two starts and 8.2 innings pitched this summer. However, he allowed four earned run in 0.2 innings in a loss during his last start on July 3.

Will Holland: Hyannis Harbor Hawks, Cape Cod League (Finished)
Season stats (13 games): .341/.431/.432, 7 R, 15 H, 2 2B, 1 3B, 4 BB, 14 K, 4 SB
Holland reached base in the last 12 games for the Hawks, including an eight-game hitting streak from July 9-18. Holland went 3-for-5 with a triple and two RBI vs. Bourne on July 17. He recently doubled in a 2-for-5 performance against Cotuit on July 19, marking his fourth multi-hit game of the summer.

Edouard Julien: Falmouth Commodores, Cape Cod League
Season stats (25 games): .210/.289/.372, 9 R, 17 H, 7 2B, 2 HR, 11 RBI, 11 BB, 31 K, 1 SB
Julien is currently on a five-game hitting streak as the Commodores start the Cape Cod League playoffs. After going 2-for-4 with a double and home run on July 31, Julien turned in a 3-for-4 game against Cotuit with a trio of doubles on Aug. 1. He went 1-for-3 with a walk in a 2-1 win at Hyannis in the playoffs and has four doubles and two home runs during the current hitting streak.

Brett Olson: Brookhaven Bucks, Sunbelt League
Season stats (18 games): .216/.328/.294, 6 R, 11 H, 4 2B, 5 RBI, 8 BB, 15 K
Olson scored and drove in a run in the Bucks semifinal game against the Atlanta Crackers. He finished tied for fifth on the team in doubles and helped Brookhaven secure their first Sunbelt League title.

Jack Owen: Brewster Whitecaps, Cape Cod League (Finished)
Season stats (2 games): 0-0, 1.80 ERA, 5.0 IP, 8 H, 3 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 4 K
Owen struck out three batters and allowed one run on five hits in 3.0 innings of work in his Cape Cod League debut on June 19 vs. Yarmouth. He returned to the mound on June 24 and didn't allow an earned run in 2.0 innings vs. Falmouth.

Blake Schilleci: Danville Dans, Prospect League
Season stats (15 games): 6-2, 1.71 ERA, 47.1 IP, 28 H, 11 R, 9 ER, 16 BB, 53 K
Schilleci picked up the save after pitching 4.0 perfect innings in the Dans playoff opener against Terre Haute on Aug. 5. Schilleci has gone five straight outings without allowing an earned run over 11.2 innings.

Judd Ward: Lima Locos, Great Lakes League (Finished)
Season stats (13 games): .211/.268/.368, 8 R, 8 H, 3 2B, 1 HR, 5 RBI, 3 BB, 9 K
Ward collected extra base hits in each of his last two games. He homered in his last appearance for the Locos on July 12. The day before, Ward doubled and drove in a run against Saginaw. Ward made one appearance on the mound for the Locos, tossing 1.0 inning and surrendering one unearned run on one hit.

Ryan Watson: Pampano Beach Clippers, South Florida Collegiate League
Season stats (8 games): 2-1, 4.11 ERA, 35.0 IP, 32 H, 21 R, 16 ER, 17 BB, 35 K
Watson leads the Clippers in innings pitched and strikeout this summer. He threw a season-high 7.0 scoreless innings and earned the win on July 2 an recently turned in 4.0 solid innings vs. West Boca on July 21. Watson is also 2-for-4 from the plate this summer.

Steven Williams: Falmouth Commodores, Cape Cod League (Finished)
Season stats (21 games): .303/.477/.394, 14 R, 20 H, 3 2B, 1 HR, 6 RBI, 21 BB, 19 K
Williams was named a Cape Cod League All-Star and competed in the All-Star game for the East team on July 22 in his last appearance on the Cape. His .477 OBP and 21 BB was good for second among the Commodores.
