AUBURN, Ala. – The watch list for the 2020 Senior Bowl came out Wednesday, and Auburn was second among all FBS schools with 13 players on the list.
The eight players on offense included running back Kam Martin, fullback Jay Jay Wilson, wide receiver Sal Cannella and all five of the starting offensive linemen from a year ago – Jack Driscoll, Marquel Harrell, Mike Horton, Kaleb Kim and Prince Tega Wanogho.
Auburn also had five defensive players on the list led by First Team All-American Derrick Brown and fellow defensive lineman Marlon Davidson. The other three – Javaris Davis, Jeremiah Dinson and Daniel Thomas – anchor the secondary for the Tigers.
At least Auburn player has played in the Senior Bowl ever year since 1967.
Last year, Auburn was represented by quarterback Jarrett Stidham, defensive lineman Dontavius Russell and linebacker Deshaun Davis. The Tigers had six players in the 2015 Senior Bowl, the most they've had in the game since 1996.
The 2020 Senior Bowl will take place Saturday, Jan. 25 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Alabama. There are a total of 110 roster spots that make up the North and South squads, and players not on the initial watch list can be added during the season and be invited to participate in the game.
