AUBURN, Ala. – Members of the 2019 NCEA Championship Auburn equestrian team were recognized Friday, Jan. 10, at the annual US Equestrian's Pegasus Awards celebration for the program's run to its sixth overall national championship last season.

"It was absolutely special being awarded during Friday's ceremony because the USEF puts on an amazing banquet and does a great job with the award show itself," head coach Greg Williams said. To be put on a platform with other disciplines within our governing body makes it a fun night. I want to thank the USEF for honoring collegiate equestrian in this manner and we are so thankful for their support."

Representing the Tigers at the awards ceremony along with Williams was associate head coach Jessica Braswell and NCEA Executive Director Leah Fiorentino. In addition, 2019 graduates Hayley Iannotti and Caitlin Boyle with current junior Emma Crosbie and sophomore McKayla Langmeier were in attendance.

The USEF Annual Meeting took place in West Palm Beach, Fla., and the Pegasus Award recognized interscholastic and intercollegiate equestrian alongside other accomplished equestrians throughout the night.
