WHAT THEY SAID

Head Coach Mickey Dean

"We played fall ball, but that's not really a good gauge. We scrimmaged a lot, still not a good gauge. You don't know what kids are going to do in a game, especially when we've got 13 new faces. Today we got to see how they reacted and how they can handle game situations. As young as we are, sometimes we handle it well and sometimes we don't. We have to give them opportunities to find their rhythm, start to play and all those other good things."
