AUBURN, Ala.—Auburn track and field athletes Dante Brown and Dontavious Hill earned weekly honors from the Southeastern Conference Tuesday after each had outstanding starts to their 2021 outdoor seasons.

Brown was named SEC Co-Runner of the Week after winning the men's 100m dash with a lifetime-best time of 10.15 at the Tiger Track Classic in Auburn this past weekend. Brown's 10.15 is also the nation's top outdoor 100m time this season.

Hill was named the SEC Co-Field Athlete of the Week after leaping a personal-best 2.21m/7-3 on his first attempt to win the men's high jump and claim the nation's top mark in the event.

The weekly honors were the first for Brown and Hill. Brown is the first Auburn men's sprinter to win the SEC outdoor weekly award since Odean Skeen in 2017, while Hill is the first Tiger high jumper since Donald Thomas in 2007 to receive the conference honor.

Auburn will return to action March 25-26 at the Florida State Relays in Tallahassee, Fla.
