AUBURN, Ala.—The Auburn track and field program will have 33 individual entries and one relay entry in the NCAA East Preliminaries to be held May 26-29 at Hodges Stadium on the University of North Florida campus in Jacksonville, Fla. Each athlete and event will compete to advance to the NCAA Championships, June 9-12, in Eugene, Ore.
The top 48 individual and top 24 relay declarations in the East and West Regions earned the opportunity to compete in their respective preliminary meet. The top 12 of the 48 in each event from both the East and West Preliminary rounds will advance to the NCAA Outdoor Championships, June 9-12, in Eugene, Ore.
Auburn already has two athletes qualified for the NCAA Championships as senior Alex Spyridonidis has qualified for the decathlon and senior Natosha Jordan will compete in the heptathlon.
