AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn's 2021-22 women's basketball schedule is now complete with the announcement of the 16-game SEC schedule by the conference office Wednesday.
The Tigers will play a total of 16 home games – eight non-conference, eight SEC – in 2021-22 with SEC play beginning Thursday, Dec. 30. Three Sunday home games against LSU, Alabama and Georgia highlight the league slate.
Kentucky visits Auburn Arena for the conference opener on Dec. 30. A pair of road games follow as the new year kicks off with trips to Alabama (Jan. 2) and Missouri (Jan. 6). The Tigers will welcome LSU to the Plains Sunday, Jan. 9, before two more road trips to Florida (Jan. 13) and Texas A&M (Jan. 16).
Back-to-back home games against rivals Alabama (Jan. 23) and Tennessee (Jan. 27) and a trip to Vanderbilt (Jan. 30) close out the first month of league play.
February tips off with a visit from Mississippi State (Feb. 3). After an open date, the Tigers travel to Arkansas (Feb. 10) before a Monday night contest against Florida on Valentine's Day. A trip to South Carolina (Feb. 17) precedes the Tigers' final two home contests against Georgia (Feb. 20) and Ole Miss (Feb. 24), and the regular season concludes on the road at Kentucky (Feb. 27).
After a three-year run in Greenville, S.C., the SEC Tournament returns to Nashville this season, running March 2-6 at Bridgestone Arena.
Game times and TV broadcast information will be announced in the coming weeks. New for the 2021-22 season, all weeknight games not otherwise selected for linear network broadcast will begin at 7 p.m. CT. Sunday games will still begin at 2 p.m. CT.
Auburn's non-conference schedule was previously announced; the regular-season opener of the Johnnie Harris era is Thursday, Nov. 11, at home against Georgia Southern. The Tigers will also play an exhibition game Nov. 4 against Miles College.
