AUBURN, Ala. – A number of former Auburn players stood out as their organizations began to compete in Spring Training last week.
 
Below are some highlights from former Tigers in big league camp.
 BEN BRAYMER - WASHINGTON NATIONALS2021: 2 G, 2.0 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 1 K

Braymer was one of two former Auburn players to make his MLB debut in 2020 and looks to break camp with the big league club this spring. The former 18th round draft pick has pitched a pair of scoreless innings with one walk and one strikeout in 2021.
 GARRETT COOPER - MIAMI MARLINS2021: 4 G, 3-for-8, 1 2B, 1 HR, 3 RBI

Cooper has picked up where he left off in 2020, doubling and driving in a run in his spring debut on Feb. 28 before hitting his first homer of 2021 Saturday. Cooper enters his fifth season in MLB, including his fourth with the Miami Marlins.
 DAVIS DANIEL - LOS ANGELES ANGELS2021: 1 G, 1.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K

A seventh-round pick of the Los Angeles Angels in 2019, Daniel made his professional debut Saturday, throwing a clean 1-2-3 inning with a strikeout against the Colorado Rockies. Daniel is yet to pitch an inning in minor league baseball but was a non-roster invitee to big league camp.
 


JOSH DONALDSON - MINNESOTA TWINS2021: 1 G, 1-for-2, 1 HR, 3 RBI
 
Donaldson enters his second season with the Twins in 2021 and got off to a fast start in spring training as he hit a three-run homer in his spring debut against Tampa Bay Sunday. This season marks Donaldson's 11th in MLB, and he enters the campaign with 225 career home runs and 656 career RBI.

 


GABE KLOBOSITS - WASHINGTON NATIONALS2021: 2 G, 2.0 IP, 2 H, 2 R/0 ER, 0 BB, 2 K

Klobosits received his first invite to big league spring training with the National this season and made his spring debut with the club on Feb. 27. The big right hander pitched a perfect inning with a strikeout last Wednesday. 
CASEY MIZE - DETROIT TIGERS2021: 2 G, 1 GS, 1-0, 4.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 4 K

After making his big league debut last season, Mize made his spring debut against Pittsburg last Tuesday and earned the win in 2.0 scoreless innings. The former No. 1 overall pick struck out three and issued three walks. He hasn't allowed a hit in two outings and 4.0 innings to start his third spring training with the Tigers.

 


JOSH PALACIOS - TORONTO BLUE JAYS2021: 5 G, 5-for-11, 2 2B, 1 3B, 1 HR, 6 RBI

After being added to the Blue Jays taxi squad at the end of 2020, Palacios had a breakout game for the big league club Friday. The former fourth round pick went 3-for-3 with a double, triple, homer and five RBI.
 


KEEGAN THOMPSON - CHICAGO CUBS2021: 1 G, 1.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K

Thompson, who was added to the Cubs' 40-man roster this offseason, made his spring debut Saturday and pitched a scoreless inning with a strikeout against the Brewers. The Cullman, Alabama, native was a third round pick in 2017.
