AUBURN, Ala. – Just a week after winning bronze at the NCAA Indoor Championships, Auburn track & field senior Dontavious Hill has been named SEC men's Co-Field Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference office Tuesday.
At last weekend's Tiger Track Classic, Hill cleared a new personal best 2.22m/7-3.25 in the high jump to claim his seventh career event win. The Mobile, Alabama native's mark also leads the country by nearly three inches.
The honor is the third of Hill's career and the second of his 2022 campaign.
The Tigers return to action this week, March 23 – 26, at the 94th annual Clyde Littlefield Relays in Austin, Texas.
