AUBURN, Ala.—Auburn senior high jumper Dontavious Hill will represent the United States at the 2022 NACAC Senior Championships in Freeport, Bahamas, this weekend as he will compete in the men's high jump on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. CT.
A native of Mobile, Alabama, Hill was also named a team captain for the American squad and is one of approximately 90 men and women representing the United States. This past season, Hill was the NCAA Outdoor and Indoor bronze medalist, while earning silver at both SEC Outdoor and Indoor meets. His personal best mark of 2.23m/7-3.75 was set during the 2022 outdoor season.
Former Auburn All-American and Olympian Rachel Dincoff is also representing the red, white and blue in the women's discus. Dincoff will compete at 6:30 p.m. CT at the Grand Bahama Sports Complex.
A 2014 outdoor All-American in the shot put, Dincoff competed at Auburn from 2014-16 and became the first Auburn female track and field athlete to be an Olympian representing the USA at the 2020 Summer games.
The three-day meet consists of 35 countries from North America, Central America and the Caribbean Area and will be held at the Grand Bahama Sport Complex in Freeport.
