For 25 years, Fred Williams coached in the WNBA. For 10 years, he was a head coach. This was after a stint as an assistant at USC with the likes of Cheryl Miller, Tina Thompson and Cynthia Cooper – all Hall of Famers. Now he's being asked to bring that kind of talent Auburn. Tigers' head coach Johnnie Harris hired Williams away from the Los Angeles Sparks to fill out her staff. Williams brings a wealth of basketball knowledge with him, nearly 40 years' worth.
