AUBURN, Ala. – A new calendar week has turned over but the Tiger Diving Team continued its strong performance on day three of the Auburn Diving Invitational.
All six divers hit zones scores on Monday and sophomore Whit Andrus managed a personal best on the tower.
The morning began with the women's 3-meter portion of the competition. Abigail Farrar dialed up an impressive 308.95 in prelims to set the pace for Jeff Shaffer's crew. The Pompano Beach, Florida native conjured another 308.25 in finals to secure eighth.
It was Ashlynn Sullivan, though, who delivered the biggest performance of the event for the Orange and Blue, solidifying third place with a 323.25.
For Gretchen Wensuc, a season-best 300.80 meant a zones qualification for the senior.
Monday afternoon brought forth the ever-exciting men's platform.
Virginia transfer Walker Creedon battled back nicely throughout his list to finish with a 378.05 and a third-place finish. Fellow North Carolina product Whit Andrus saved his best for last as well. A 349.85 was a new personal best for Andrus.
