AUBURN, Ala. – Head Swimming and Diving coach Ryan Wochomurka has announced the 2023-24 schedule on Tuesday.
Championship action returns to the Plains for the first time since 2020 as James E. Martin Aquatics Center will play host to the 2024 SEC Swimming and Diving Championships Feb. 20-24.
Before Auburn is flooded with some of the world's fastest swimmers and most talented divers, a jam-packed schedule awaits the Tigers.
The Auburn faithful will get their first look at Wochomurka's squad with the Orange and Blue Scrimmage set for Sept. 22.
October is filled with a bevy of road meets with the team traveling to Dallas for the SMU Classic (Oct. 6-7), a dual with Louisville (Oct. 6-7) and a trip to Columbia, Missouri to face Tigers and Indiana (Oct. 25).
The Tigers' lone competition in the fall on the Plains is the War Eagle Invite (Oct. 13-15) hosted by Auburn Aquatics.
For another year, Auburn will head to Athens for the Fall Invite (Nov. 16-18). For the Women, it'll give the team a preview of the pool they'll be swimming in for the National Championships later that spring.
The Toyota US Open (Nov. 29-Dec. 2), USA Diving Winter Nationals (Nov. 29-Dec. 6) and the AU Diving Invitational (Dec. 17-20) round out the team's competition schedule for the calendar year.
Things come fast and furious at the start of 2024, beginning with the Tennessee Diving Invite (Jan. 3-5). Auburn will dual Georgia on Jan. 6 and a TYR Pro Series event will tune up the team for a trip to Tuscaloosa (Jan. 19).
February brings the annual Auburn Invitational (Feb. 9-10) and the First Chance Meet (Feb. 10) before the rest of the conference descends upon the Plains for the SEC Championships (Feb. 20-24).
Head diving coach John Fox and his crew will travel east to Georgia for the NCAA Zones Championships March 10-13 in Athens.
The Women's National Championships will be held March 20-23 in Athens, Georgia while the Men's National Championships are slated for March 27-30 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
