CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – No. 9 Auburn has claimed second place through two rounds with 36-hole score of 575 (-1) at the Tar Heel Invitational in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. After carding a 3-over 291 in round one, the Tigers bounced back by firing a 1-under 284 in round two.

"A lot of solid play today but left some shots out there," said Auburn head coach Melissa Luellen. "Really proud of the improvement and consistency from all five in the afternoon round. Florida has been hot for two rounds and maybe tomorrow will be our turn to get hot."
