AUBURN, Ala. – A total of 17 regular-season home games highlights the 2023-24 Auburn women's basketball schedule, announced today by the SEC and head coach Johnnie Harris.
The Tigers will play nine non-conference home contests at Neville Arena along with four road trips before league play begins. Each SEC team will play 16 league contests, eight each at home and on the road.
Highlights of the schedule include Sunday afternoon contests against LSU (Jan. 14) and Alabama (Jan. 21), three non-conference home games against "Power Five" opponents, and an in-state non-conference contest at UAB.
A pair of preseason contests marks the unofficial start to the season. Auburn hosts West Georgia on Oct. 30, followed by a visit from Columbus State Nov. 2. Admission to both exhibition contests will be free.
The season officially begins Nov. 6 as Jacksonville State visits Neville Arena. Three days later, the Tigers will welcome Louisiana-Lafayette. Auburn's first road trip of the season will see the Tigers travel to New Jersey to take on Rutgers (Nov. 12).
After a Friday night home game vs. California (Nov. 17), another road trip follows as the Tigers will travel to UCF (Nov. 20). The Sunday after the Iron Bowl, Auburn will host Alabama A&M (Nov. 26), then four days later it will be a rematch from last year's WNIT as Clemson visits Neville Arena as part of the ACC/SEC Challenge (Nov. 30).
December begins with a pair of road games at UAB (Dec. 3) and Little Rock (Dec. 10). Four straight home games wrap up non-conference play as the Tigers host Alabama State (Dec. 13), Norfolk State (Dec. 16), Washington State (Dec. 20) and North Alabama (Dec. 31).
SEC play begins with a visit from Tennessee (Jan. 4). Other home games in January include Sunday games with LSU (Jan. 14) and Alabama (Jan. 21) and a Monday night contest with Georgia (Jan. 29). January road trips are to Texas A&M, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt.
South Carolina comes to town Feb. 1 to open the final month of the regular season. The Tigers will also host Kentucky (Feb. 15), Texas A&M (Feb. 25) and Mississippi State (Feb. 29) to round out the home schedule. Road games in February and March include trips to Arkansas, Missouri, Alabama, LSU and Florida.
The 2024 SEC Tournament is set for March 6-10 in Greenville, South Carolina, at Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
Game times and TV information will be announced in the coming weeks. Season tickets will go on sale to the general public later this month.
