  • Has driven in multiple runs in three of his first six games in an Auburn uniform, including a pair of times last week.
  • Hit a bases-clearing double in the sixth inning of the Tigers run-rule victory vs. Wichita State, matching his season high with three RBI.
  • Matched a season high with three hits, including his first homer in an Auburn uniform, in the final game vs. Virginia.

  • Hit a first-inning grand slam and ultimately drove in a career-high six runs in the team's run-rule victory vs. Wichita State.
  • Set the tone by sending the first pitch he saw in the game well over the wall in right field and ultimately reached base four times with a RBI single and a pair of walks.
  • His six RBI were the most since Justin Kirby drove in seven runs vs. USC on Feb. 26 of last season.

  • Hit the go-ahead, two-run homer in the seventh inning of Auburn's comeback win vs. Iowa.
  • Collected a season-high three hits, including his second two-run homer in as many games, and matched a season high with three RBI in the run-rule victory vs. Wichita State.
  • Also threw out a runner at the plate and robbed a home run in right field.

  • Entered in relief of Chase Allsup in the fourth inning of the opening game vs. Iowa and held the Hawkeyes scoreless and to just one baserunner in 2.2 innings to allow for the Tigers comeback.
  • Tied 2-2 in the fifth inning vs. Virginia, he entered with a runner in scoring position and held him there with a groundout and strikeout to end the inning.

Cam Tilly – Fr. – RHP – Newburgh, Ind.

Week 2: 1-0, 0.00 ERA, 2 APP, 3.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 4 K, .100 B/AVG
Jax Classic: 1-0, 0.00, 1 APP, 2.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K, .143 B/AVG

  • Earned his first career win in 2.0 scoreless innings vs. Iowa in the opening game of the Jax Colllege Baseball Classic.
  • Struck out the first two batters he faced and ultimately fanned a season-high three in the contest.
  • Also turned in a clean seventh inning with a strikeout in the midweek vs. UAB, needing just seven pitches to retire the side.

 

TEAM NOTES
Auburn started the season on a six-game winning streak, marking the team's second longest season-opening win streak since 2001 … the Tigers earned come-from-behind wins in the first two games of the week vs. UAB and Iowa … the team has homered in seven straight games to begin the season, marking the longest stretch to begin a season since also homering in seven straight games to begin the 2016 season … Auburn has drawn 65 walks in the first seven games, the second most in the SEC and fourth most in the country … the 16 walks vs. Wichita State were the most in a game since also walking 16 times vs. Florida State in the 2022 Auburn Regional … the team's 19 runs in the run-rule win vs. Wichita State also marked the most runs since the 21-7 win vs. Florida State 21-7 in game two of that Auburn Regional … the Tigers have stolen a base in six straight games and have registered 18 stolen bases in the first seven games of the season .. the 18 stolen bases through seven games are the most since stealing 20 bases the first seven games of 2016 … Auburn didn't steal its 18th base last season until Apr. 2 at Florida (28 games) … Bobby Perice was named the Jax College Baseball Classic MVP while teammates Deric Fabian, Ike Irish and Cooper McMurray also earned All-Tournament Team honors.
