AUBURN, Ala. – Head coach Ryan Wochomurka and the No. 10/15 Tigers host the Last Chance Meet, March 1-2, inside the James. E. Martin Aquatic Center.
As one last opportunity to grab NCAA Championship qualifying times before the selections are announced, a number of Auburn swimmers will be looking for season bests throughout the weekend.
Prelims begin at 10 a.m. CT each day. Finals on Friday, March 1, are set for 5 p.m. CT. On Saturday, March 2, finals are slated for 3 p.m. CT. Fans unable to make it to the plains can follow along on Meet Mobile.
All five relays on both the men's and women's sides have qualified for the 2024 NCAA Championships next month. Auburn student-athletes have accounted for more than 100 B cuts thus far, setting up for deep rosters on both teams.
Auburn is coming off an SEC Championship week in which the men's side captured a runner-up finish for the second straight year while the women jumped up to fourth after grabbing seventh a year ago. It was the highest placing for the women since 2016 and the most points (879.5) since 2006.
At the 2023 NCAA Championships, Wochomurka's men solidified 10th, the best finish since 2016 and the highest under the then-second-year head coach. The Women finish 26th, scoring for the first time since 2019.
