AUBURN, Ala. – Sharpshooter Miles Kelly completes Auburn men's basketball's roster for the 2024-25 season.
The Tigers nabbed the 6-foot-6, 180-pound guard, who is a transfer from Georgia Tech. A native of Stone Mountain, Georgia, Kelly was an All-Atlantic Coast Conference honorable mention player and was the team's leading scorer averaging 13.9 points per game. He was also second in rebounding (5.5 rpg) and reached double figures in 24 contests including a career-high 36 points at Louisville and 25 points at Miami (Fla.).
"Miles brings great experience, talent and ability to our back court," head coach Bruce Pearl said. "He is a tremendous 3-point shooter, an elite defender, has great versatility and wants to win championships. Miles is our 12th player on scholarship and completes our roster. He is an outstanding student and will do a wonderful job in our locker room."
During his three-year career with the Yellow Jackets, Kelly played in 95 games with 60 starts. He averaged 11.1 points per game, while connecting on 35 percent of his 3-point shots and 78.6 percent of his free throws. This past season, Kelly topped the 1,000-career point mark versus Clemson. His 184 career 3-pointers ranks ninth most in program history.
A consensus four-star prospect from the Atlanta area, Kelly played his first three years at Parkview High School in Lilburn, Georgia, and his senior year at Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Virginia. During his senior campaign, he was nominated to play in the McDonald's All-American Game. Kelly was an honor roll and dean's list student at both schools.
