AUBURN, Ala. – The No. 1 Auburn equestrian team will conclude the fall portion of the 2024-25 season on the road, traveling to No. 6 Georgia for a 1 p.m. CT Southeastern Conference contest on Friday, November 22. The Tigers and the Bulldogs will face off at the UGA Equestrian Center in Bishop, Georgia.
“These two programs have won more national championships than anyone else in our sport and we always bring our best against each other,” head coach Jessica Braswell said. “We’re looking forward to a great meet Friday.”
Auburn is looking to cap the fall with a perfect record as the tea mis 6-0 overall and 2-0 in the league.
“Georgia is a really tough team to play on the road at their place,” Braswell said. “We will need to have our best road effort of the season to win. I’m looking for us to compete for every point and continue the consistency we’ve shown this fall.”
AUBURN LINEUP
The Auburn lineup showcases that consistency that head coach Jessica Braswell talks about regularly as all starters have competed in some if not all meets so far this season.
Fifth year Ellie Ferrigno, seniors Mary-Grace Segars and Sophee Steckbeck and sophomore Avery Glynn highlight the Jumping Seat lineup as all four will compete in both Fences and Flat. Each has five wins a piece in Fences, while Ferrigno leads the team with five victories on the Flat.
Freshman Kate Hagerty got the starting nod in Fences after putting together an MOP performance vs. Texas A&M two weeks ago. Freshman Ariana Marnell will go for the squad on the Flat.
The Horsemanship crew will look the same as two weeks ago after sweeping the Aggies in the event. The team will be led by juniors Caroline Fredenburg and Alexia Tordoff as well as sophomores Brook Jolstad and Sydney Swallom.
Tordoff is a perfect 6-0-0 on the year in Horsemanship with two MOPs, while Jolstad and Swallom each have four wins.
Joining the group will be freshman Abby Eddy. The Rocheport, Missouri product picked up the first win of her career against the Aggies two weeks ago.
Reining will be led by fifth year Olivia Bradley and juniors Caroline Buchanan and Tordoff and the trio are joined by two freshmen in Michelle Fumagalli and Catie Reachard.
Bradley and Fumagalli have a team-best five wins on the season, while Buchanan has four.

The two teams last met at the 2024 SEC Championship, competing in the semifinal. The Tigers took a 12-7 victory over the Bulldogs to advance to the championship match.
