Q: What is your favorite thing about your hometown? How does it compare to Auburn?
A: “My favorite thing about my hometown is my family. I grew up in California, which was lovely, but Auburn is definitely more me. I'm just grateful to have found my home for the next three years.”
Q: What was your first visit to Auburn like? What about Auburn made you want to transfer here?
A: “My visit here was perfect. I was drained by the end of my second recruiting process while I was in the transfer portal but something about being in Auburn felt easy and took a lot of my stress off.”
Q: Who's your biggest role model, and why?
A: “My biggest role model is God. Nobody is perfect except for Jesus. His kind heart and unconditional love makes me want to be a better person to those around me.”
Q: What or who keeps you motivated on the hard days?
A: “On the hard days, I stay motivated by remembering that I'm exactly where I hoped I would be when I was a kid and that I've still got more to prove.”
Q: What Auburn traditions are your favorite?
A: “My favorite Auburn tradition is watching the eagle fly.”
Q: What's your favorite home cooked meal?
A: “My favorite home cooked meal is probably my mom's mac and cheese!”
Q: What hobbies do you enjoy outside of gymnastics?
A: “Outside of gym, I really enjoy camping, hiking, and driving. I love a good coffee date too!”
Q: Do you have any gymnastics superstitions?
A: “I don't have any gymnastics superstitions anymore, but I used to eat soup before every competition.”
Q: If you could eliminate one event, which one would you choose and why?
A: “I wouldn't eliminate any events; I like them all equally.”
Q: What are you most looking forward to this season? What are some of your goals?
A: “This season I am looking forward to being Auburn on the competition floor and representing the team and the SEC! My goals are to contribute to the team in every way that I can and to stay healthy throughout the season.”
