Q: Why Auburn?
A: “I chose Auburn because the second I stepped on campus I knew it was the place for me. I love the small-town atmosphere of Auburn while still providing the SEC experience. You can really feel the Auburn Family.”

Q: What is your major and what are your plans to do with it after college?
A: “I am majoring in accounting. After graduating from undergrad, I plan to complete my master’s and sit for the CPA exam. My senior year, I will complete a tax internship with Forvis Mazars in Nashville.”

Q: What would you say your biggest accomplishment has been thus far in life?
A: “I was a very shy kid growing up so coming to Auburn without knowing anyone was a big step for me. My greatest accomplishment is just how far I’ve come and the connections I’ve made.”

Q: How are you balancing your first year being on the team?
A: “Balancing being a full-time student and an athlete can be difficult at times. As I went through the semester, I found what works for me. I have learned to manage my time with school, the team, my job, and a social life.”

Q: What are you most looking forward to heading into your spring season?
A: “Heading into spring semester, I am excited to keep growing as a team and getting stronger.”

Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Auburn?
A: “My favorite restaurant in Auburn is Niffers.”

Q: When and why did you start riding horses?
A: “I started riding before I could walk. I grew up on a horse farm in Nashville and my parents were both trainers so the sport was always around me.”

Q: What has the adjustment process been like moving up from the IHSA club team to the varsity team?
A: “The adjustment from IHSA to varsity was not as hard as many would expect. Auburn has an amazing IHSA team that is very involved. The varsity commitment is definitely more but I felt better prepared having been on IHSA. Both teams have provided me with great experience and support.”

Q: What do you hope to accomplish while on the team?
A: “I hope to support my team to the best of my ability and just enjoy my time here.”

Q: Favorite home cooked meal?
A: “My favorite home cooked meal is chicken paprika.”

Q: What piece of advice would you give to people aspiring to compete in college?
A: “My advice would be to work hard and not lose sight of your goals.”
