AUBURN, Ala. – The No. 1 Auburn equestrian team continues its homestand Saturday, hosting No. 8 South Carolina at the Auburn University Equestrian Center. The Tigers and the Gamecocks will go head-to-head at 11 a.m. CT and admission is free.
“South Carolina is an improving team that is coming off a big upset win this past weekend vs. Texas A&M,” head coach Jessica Braswell said. “We’re expecting them to come out stronger and to see a lot of improvement from them. With that, we’re going to have to ride better than we did last weekend and we’ll have to be at our best on Saturday.”
The Tigers (9-1, 2-1 SEC) have enjoyed great crowds at home this season and are relying upon the Auburn faithful to once again show up this Saturday.
“We had a great crowd both days last week so a big thank you to the Auburn fans for continuing to come out for us and cheer us on,” Braswell said. “It makes a huge difference for us and we love competing at home. It’s definitely the best environment in collegiate equestrian and we are looking forward to Saturday.”
