AUBURN, Ala. – An in-state foe awaits No. 23 Auburn softball (20-8) Wednesday at Jane B. Moore Field as the Tigers host South Alabama (14-15) in a midweek tilt.
“We’ve got to be careful of not making the last week’s results bigger than it feels,” said co-head coach Chris Malveaux. “We have to control what we can control and get back in the mindset of setting the tone and attacking. South Alabama is traditionally a good program. They are coming into it wanting this game. We’ve got to do our part by being in attack mode from pitch one.”
First pitch on the SEC Network+ is set for 6 p.m. CT. Lyn Rollins and Director of Auburn Athletics John Cohen will be on the call. JJ Jackson will provide radio coverage on WEGL 91.1 FM and the Auburn Sports Network.
It’s Jimmy Buffett Night at Jane B. Moore-ville on Wednesday. Fans will receive leis and free t-shirts while supplies last. Diamond Deals Day returns for the midweek clash as fans can enjoy $2 hot dogs and $5 domestic brews.
