FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – A stout 200 free relay put Auburn’s first points on the board at the 2025 Women’s NCAA Championships on Wednesday. With two more days of swimming and diving remaining inside the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center, the Tigers sit 25th with six points.

It was a duo of freshmen who kicked off Thursday for Auburn. Distance specialist Julia Strojnowska began the morning session with a 4:50.14 in the 500 free to solidify 63rd.

Fellow rookie Audrey Crawford opened her championships with the 200 IM. The Indiana native hit the wall at 2:00.70 to secure 60th.

Auburn had a pair of sprinters in the 50 free. Senior Lexie Mulvihill led the charge with a 22.14 to take 31st. Graduate Elizaveta Klevanovich went 22.25 to wrap up 42nd.

Rounding out the evening in style, Mulvihill, Klevanovich, Polina Nevmovenko and Lora Komoroczy combined for a 1:27.63 in the 200 free relay, hitting the wall 14th to put the first points on the board for the Orange and Blue. The time was also the 11th-fastest relay in program history.
