AUBURN, Ala – The Auburn equestrian team and head coach Jessica Braswell announced that Natalie Bretz has been hired as the program’s Director of Operations.

“I’m excited to add Natalie to our staff as Director of Operations,” Braswell said. “Natalie has worked with our team for a few seasons in Student-Athlete Support Services and is already hugely invested in our program. She is excited to continue with our student-athletes and I am excited to add her work ethic and attention to detail to our staff.”

“I’m incredibly excited to be joining the equestrian staff,” Bretz said. “After working with these amazing student-athletes as their academic counselor, I’ve seen just how hardworking and passionate they are. I’m so grateful to Jessica Braswell for this opportunity and can’t wait to be a part of the team in a new way.”

Bretz joined the staff after serving as the team’s academic advisor for the past two years. She graduated from Auburn in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in accountancy and in 2021 with a master’s degree in accountancy.

She worked in SASS as a graduate assistant and assistant academic counselor before moving up to academic counselor in March 2023.

Bretz hails from Hamilton, Alabama and was recently married to her husband, David.

Bretz replaces Morgan Dyck, who served the Tigers in the role since July 2018.

“There are not enough words to describe the impact Morgan has had on this program,” Braswell said. “She was an exemplary teammate as a student-athlete and one of the hardest workers I’ve ever been around. As the program’s first Director of Operations, she made the position her own and we’ve been so lucky to have her. I’m excited for her and John and what lies ahead for them in Starkville.”
