AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn baseball is set to take on the Banana Ball All-Stars in a fall exhibition game Saturday at Plainsman Park. A timeline of events for the day is below.
Auburn vs. Banana Ball All-Stars
3:30 p.m. - Pre-Game Party and Player Appearances
4:30 p.m. - Before the Peel Show
5:30 p.m. - Gates Open
6:30 p.m. - Show Starts
The contest, which will be streamed on the Banana Ball YouTube channel, will be a two-hour timed game played under Banana Ball rules. A 45-minute postgame party will take place in the Party Plaza located outside of the ballpark following the conclusion of the game.
“We've been preparing all fall, not just for the Bananas, but to play each other and to play games,” senior catcher Lucas Steele said. "We've been working hard on that, but at the same time we want to go out there and enjoy it and make the moment what it's supposed to be, and that's a once in a lifetime kind of opportunity to play those guys. I think we're really looking forward to enjoying it.”
Donahue Drive from Samford Avenue to War Eagle Way will be closed to traffic beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday, at which time all reserved parking lots highlighted in blue on the map below will open.
