BIRMINGHAM, Ala.  — Lauren Dreves, a sophomore outside hitter from Vancouver, Washington has been named All-SEC First Team, the conference announced Wednesday.

Throughout the season, Dreves proved why she was one of the best left-sides across the Southeastern Conference. In 26 matches, Dreves posted single-season career highs in kills (360), kills per set (3.83), hitting percentage (.269), blocks (61), blocks per set (0.65), points (403.5) and points per set (4.29).

Leading the team in double-doubles with eight, Dreves managed double-digit kills in 24 of the 26 matches this season, eclipsing 20 kills three times, including a career-high 24 at LSU. She has reached double figures in 11 straight matches.

In the opening weekend of SEC play, Dreves was named Co-Offensive Player of the Week after producing 14 kills with four digs on .244 hitting in a three-set sweep over in-state rival Alabama. Two days later against Mississippi State, Dreves delivered 15 kills on her 40 swings with zero errors. With 13 digs, she tallied her third double-double as well as a career-high six blocks. Across Auburn’s two sweeps, Dreves piled up 29 kills on .306 hitting, averaging 4.83 kills per set, 5.58 points, 2.83 digs and 1.17 blocks.

Dreves is the first All-SEC selection since Madison Scheer in 2023. With the return of First Team selections last season, Dreves becomes the first Auburn student-athlete to be named to the First Team since Jaunelle Hamilton and Brooke McCarley in 1999. She is also the third all-conference selection in the Brent Crouch Era.
