AUBURN, Ala. – Looking to keep its home series winning streak intact, No. 5 Auburn (7-1) is set to square off with Nebraska (4-3) for the first time in program history. First pitches at Plainsman Park are scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m. CT, Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m.
The games will be broadcast on the Auburn Sports Network and can be heard locally on Wings 94.3 FM Friday and Sunday and ESPN 106.7 FM Saturday. The series will also be broadcast digitally on SEC Network+.
“This is going to be a SEC-type weekend. It’s going to be a rehearsal,” head coach Butch Thompson said. “This is going to be one good, solid baseball club that we’re going to have to face for a three-game series.
“We still have a lot to learn, and it doesn’t matter who we’re playing. This is more about can we just absolutely keep getting ready to play good baseball?” Thompson added. “(Nebraska) has my full attention, and they’ll have my team’s full attention once we get out on that field.”
A limited number of general admission single-game tickets for this weekend’s series remain available and can be purchased here.
