ATLANTA, Ga. – Freshman Abdalla Nasr and the Auburn Tigers capped off a strong performance at the 2026 NCAA Championships on Saturday inside historic McAuley Aquatic Center. The Egyptian’s All-American effort in the 200 fly left Auburn in 17th place with 55 points.

Nasr had already put points on the board for the Tigers in the 100 fly days earlier, earning All-American Honorable Mention with a 12th-place finish. On Saturday, the rookie took the 200 fly to the next level, becoming the first man in school history to dip under 1:40.00, hitting the wall seventh in prelims with a program record 1:39.59.

In finals, Nasr conjured a 1:40.68 to solidify eighth overall and First Team All-American honors.

Auburn’s final relay came in the form of Luke Bedsole, Daniel Krichevsky, Warner Russ and Kalle Makinen. The quartet combined for a season-best 2:48.64 to finish 18th.

In the diving well, Tsvetomir Ereminov took to the tower in his first NCAA appearance. The freshman dialed up a 300.70 to finish 36th.

In total, head coach Ryan Wochomurka’s crew accounted for two program records, four top-10 swims and 15 All-American honors from eight different athletes.
