AUBURN, Alabama—The Auburn track and field team has eight student-athletes that have qualified for the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to be held March 13-14 at the Randal Tyson Indoor Track Center.

Four men and four women have earned a berth, including 2025 NCAA Indoor 60m hurdles champion, Ja’Kobe Tharp. Tharp, who is a two-time SEC Champion in the event, has won two consecutive national titles in the sprint hurdle events as he also won the 2025 outdoor 110m hurdles title.

The Tiger men will also have three individuals competing in the 60m dash including SEC Champion Kayinsola Ajayi, Israel Okon and Omari Lewis. Ajayi, who tied the collegiate record at 60m last week after running 6.45, will be join Okon in making their second straight indoor nationals meet. Last season in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Ajayi and Okon won silver and bronze respectively in the event.

On the women’s side, junior Ana-Liese Torian qualified for the second year in a row in the 60m hurdles, while senior Danae Nembhard also earned a spot in the 60m hurdles. Last weekend, the duo both broke a 26-year-old AU record in the event during the semifinals.

Also making their NCAA Indoor Championships debut is senior Megan Hague and sophomore Camryn Massey, both who will compete in the women’s shot put. Hague won the SEC championship last weekend while breaking her own school record twice and posting the nation’s No. 2 mark.

Action for the Tigers will begin on Friday, March 13 at 5:45 p.m. CT with the men’s 60m semifinals. The women’s and men’s 60m hurdles semis will be Friday at 6:45 p.m. and 6:55 p.m., respectively.  Auburn’s shotput throwers will wait until Saturday before their competition on 2:45 p.m. CT, while sprinters that advance Friday will race in finals on Saturday afternoon at 4:40 p.m. (men’s 60m), 5:50 p.m. (women’s 60m hurdles) and 6 p.m. (men’s 60m hurdles).
