FRANKLIN, Tenn. — Auburn men's golf takes a six-shot advantage into day two of the Mason Rudolph Championship at the Vanderbilt Legends Course thanks to hot starts from Jackson Koivun, Cayden Pope and Jake Albert, all of whom are poised inside the top five following Friday's opening 18.
Koivun carded a 4-under 67 to share the individual lead with Tom Fischer of Ole Miss. Pope shot 68 (-3) and Albert shot 69 (-2).
Junior Josiah Gilbert also went below par with a 70 (-1). Freshman Logan Reilly followed with a 72 (+1) and sophomore Billy Davis shot 74 (+3).
