  • Allowed a solo home run in the fourth inning that snapped a stretch of 27.2 innings without allowing an earned run.
  • Got into a bases-loaded, one-out jam in the sixth inning but escaped the inning unscathed with a strikeout and groundout to end his outing.

  • Escaped a bases-loaded jam in the second inning and retired nine of the next 10 batters he faced in the third through fifth innings.
  • Allowed a solo homer to start the sixth but responded by retiring the last six batters he faced in his outing.
  • Leads the league with a .153 opponent’s average against and is tied for the league lead in innings pitched (48.2) while ranking fourth in ERA (1.29) and strikeouts (64).

  • Making his first relief appearance of the season, he earned his first career save with 4.0 scoreless innings in the series finale against the Razorbacks.
  • Six of the first seven outs he recorded were via strikeouts, and he ultimately struck out eight of the 14 batters he faced.
  • Pitched through a brief rain delay, striking out the first two batters he faced out of the delay on seven pitches.
  • Delivered 38 of his 54 pitches for strikes, good for 70.4 percent.

Auburn’s series win against Arkansas marked the team’s first against the Razorbacks since 2017 … the home series win marked the team’s 13th in the last 14 regular season home series dating back to the end of the 2024 season … the pitching staff turned in a 2.67 ERA with 39 strikeouts and four walks in 27.0 innings pitched in the series … it marked the sixth series this season the Tigers have walked six or fewer batters … the team needed just six pitchers to get through the weekend … starting pitchers turned in 5.0 or more innings in all three games and have now done so in 25 of 31 games this season … the pitching staff leads the league with a 3.06 overall ERA and ranks second with a 3.32 ERA in SEC play … starters have turned in a 2.62 ERA through 12 SEC games … Auburn’s 340 strikeouts through 31 games are the most in the stat crew since (since 1993), six more than the 334 through 31 games in 1997 … the 77 walks allowed are the second fewest in the same timeframe, trailing only the 71 walks allowed through 31 games in 2002 … after scoring four runs on 12 hits at Alabama, the offense scored 20 runs on 30 hits, including 11 for extra-bases, against Arkansas … all three totals were the most in a conference series this season – five more runs, five more hits, five more extra-base hits.
