AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn men’s basketball team added extreme size with its 2026 signing class, and none bigger than French center Narcisse Ngoy.
A dominant shot blocker, Ngoy is acclimating to his first month in America and will impress Tiger fans with his presence around the rim and the way he can affect the game on both ends of the court.
Q&A With Narcisse Ngoy:
Q: How is your transition to America going?
A: I have been here one month and honestly I love the city. The people are good. The chemistry of the team is great and everything has gone really good so far.
Q: How has it been going at practice?
A: Practices are hard for me. Overseas vs. here is a really big difference and I need to adapt. Every coach and every teammate has helped me and I just need to continue to improve.
Q: Describe your game:
A: Offensively, I’m best when I am close to the rim. On defense, I really like to block shots. I am a rim protector.
Q: What can fans expect to see from you on the court this season?
A: Fans can expect to see me dunk and block a lot of shots. That’s what they will see the most from me.
Q: What are you most looking forward to this season?
A: I want to win a ring this season. That’s my goal and that’s my objective.
