Finished third with teammate Dan Mazzarferro on the 3-meter synchronized springboard at the 2009 World University Games in Belgrade, Serbia ... A three-time All-Amercia honoree at the NCAA Championships ... Runner-up on the 3-meter springboard with a personal-best score of 454.85 ...Made the championship final and took sixth on the 1-meter with 386.80 points ... Took 11th on the platform (414.70) ... Had a successful SEC Championships on all three boards ... Finished second on the 1-meter (372.75), 3-meter (418.05) and platform (423.85) ... Score on the platform of 423.85 was a personal-best.

Sophomore Season (2007-08)
Earned All-America honors on all three boards at the NCAA Championships... Finished 14th on the 1-meter at NCAAs with a score of 325.75... Made the championship final and finished fifth on the 3-meter with a score of 398.05 while taking 10th place on platform, scoring 367.90... At the NCAA Zone B Championships, Marx finished 11th on the 3-meter, fifth on the 1-meter and seventh on the platform... Won his first conference title at the SEC Championships, winning the 1-meter with a score of 352.20... Also finished runner-up on the 3-meter with a score of 414.55... Freshman Season (2006-07)
Competed with teammate Caleb Dunnichay at the U.S. Diving Nationals in the synchronized 3-meter springboard, finishing seventh in preliminaries with a score of 283.56... A two-time All-American at the NCAA Championships... Finished sixth on both the 1-meter (337.15) and platform (371.90) at NCAAs... Was 30th in the 3-meter preliminaries with a score of 288.50... Took third-place at SECs on the 1-meter with a 345.30 inthe finals... Also finished sixth on the 3-meter (359.55) and fifth on the platform (340.60)... At NCAA zones, Marx finished 10th on the 1-meter (603.80), fifth on the 3-meter (708.00) and fifth on the platform (691.70).
