Auburn advances to the SEC Championship Game for the first time since 2010 and the fifth time overall (1997, 2000, 2004, 2010, 2013). Auburn will face either Missouri or South Carolina.

Chris Davis's 100-yard field goal attempt return started at the back of the end zone and goes down as 100 miscellaneous yards. According to the NCAA Record book classifies the return of field goal attempts with punt returns. It is the third time in NCAA history that a missed field goal was returned for 100 yards and the first time since 1968 (Clemson vs. Georgia - Richie Luzzi for Clemson). The only other time was 1966 (California vs. Washington State - Don Guest for California).
 
Ryan Smith's partial block of the first-quarter Alabama punt was the first block of his career, and the first punt block for Auburn since the 2011 Chick-fil-A Bowl.
 
Robenson Therezie's fourth-quarter field goal block was the first of his career.
 
Nick Marshall's 45-yard TD run in the first quarter was his longest TD run of the season; his previous long score was a 38-yard run at Tennessee. It's Marshall's 10th rushing touchdown of the season

Tre Mason (164 yards rushing) recorded his 10th career 100-yard game and his seventh of this season. Mason is now in 10th place among Auburn's career rushers with 2,480, passing Michael Dyer (2,335 yards from 2010-11) and Stacy Danley (2,427 from 1987-90).
 
Mason now has scored a rushing touchdown in nine consecutive games and in 16 of the last 19 contests. For the season, Mason has 18 rushing TDs, second best in AU history. He has 26 career rushing touchdowns and 28 career touchdowns scored overall
 
The third-quarter 13-yard TD pass from Nick Marshall to C.J. Uzomah was Uzomah's third TD reception this year
 
Sammie Coates' 39-yard TD reception in the fourth quarter was his 6th of the season and 8th of his career.
 
Chris Davis and Ryan Smith both finished with 10 tackles. Davis had six solo tackles and Smith had seven solo tackles. Jermaine Whitehead finished with nine tackles, six solo, and two pass breakups.
