Was the 2009 Nike Indoor National Champion in the shot put with a throw of 71-0.5 that ranked No. 3 in the U.S. all-time for high school boys ... Finished second at the 2009 Nike Outdoor Nationals in both the shot put and discus with marks of 71-6 and 200-0, respectively ... Two-time Texas 5A state titlist in the shot put ... In 2009, won in the shot put with a throw of 69-1.75 and was second in the discus (195-6) ... In 2008, won the shot with a mark of 64-9.75 and was third in the discus (180-1) ...
