Education: Marie completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at the University of North Carolina in 2012. She completed her dietetic internship in the Coordinated Graduate Program at The Ohio State University, and graduated with an MS in Medical Dietetics in May 2018. She has been a registered dietitian (RD) since summer 2018.

Job Responsibilities: Marie is a registered dietitian who oversees all Olympic sports. She is directly responsible for the baseball, soccer, and swim & dive teams. She works with these teams on an individual and team level, including providing consults, meal planning, educations, gameday support, hydration testing, and body composition testing. As a member of the Sports Medicine Team, Marie works closely with the doctors, athletic trainers, and counseling staff to provide inter-disciplinary care to her student athletes. She helps consult on menu creation and athlete feedback at the Wellness Kitchen. She also assists the Director of Sports Nutrition with any additional department tasks.

Past Experience: Before Auburn, Marie worked for the Chicago Cubs organization for the 2018 season as the dietitian for the AA Affiliate, the Tennessee Smokies. Marie worked as a sports nutrition intern with a variety of sports while completing her masters degree at The Ohio State University, including a summer season with the football team, and following school year with aquatic sports.
