Reagan Sparks is in her first season as a graduate assistant and fourth year overall working with the Auburn men's basketball program.
A recent graduate of Auburn earning her bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering with a minor in supply chain management from the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering, her duties include assisting with team travel, day-to-day operations and data and analytics.
“The operation of running a Power 5 men’s basketball program is way more complex than it used to be,” head coach Bruce Pearl said. “All the components of a basketball operation – working with various philanthropies, including the Bruce Pearl Family Foundation, community service, development and recruiting – requires tremendous administrative skill and time. I love to hire from within. Reagan was with us three years as a student manager and demonstrated the highest quality of character, talent and ability. I am happy to be able to promote her to graduate assistant.”
She splits her time between working with the men’s basketball program and assisting Executive Deputy Athletics Director Rich McGlynn and Assistant Athletics Director Casey Page in the athletics administration office.
Sparks was a three-year student manager and part of two Southeastern Conference Championship runs in 2022 (regular season) and 2024 (tournament). She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in business administration from the Harbert College of Business.
Originally from Sharpsburg, Georgia, she is the daughter of Matt and Tonya Sparks, and has two sisters, Stella and Lola.
