Began at Auburn: September 1999

Education: Helmbold earned her bachelor's degree in psychology and a Master of Education in community agency counseling from Auburn University.

Job Responsibilities: Helmbold serves as the Chief of Staff for Student-Athlete Support Services overseeing the day to day operations of the unit.

Past Experience: Helmbold first joined the SASS staff in 1999 as an Academic Counselor. In 2007, she became the Assistant Athletics Director, SASS, and since 2012 she has served as the Associate Athletics Director, Student-Athlete Support Services. Helmbold left Auburn in the Fall of 2002 to serve on the women's basketball coaching staff at an Atlantic Coast Conference institution returning to Auburn in the Winter of 2004.
