RESPONSIBILITY: Assists in the administration of the overall Auburn media relations program with special emphasis on football and softball.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Came to Auburn as a media relations assistant in July 2004. Was named an assistant director of media relations of media relations in August 2005. Prior to Auburn, served as the director of media relations for the Eugene Emeralds of the Northwest League for the 2003 season. Was a communications intern for the Portland Beavers of the Pacific Coast League in 2002. Spent the 2001 offseason as an intern in the San Jose Sharks (NHL) media relations office. While at the University of Oregon, served as a sports reporter and sports editor at the Oregon Daily Emerald (2001-04).
PERSONAL INFORMATION: Born January 17, 1982. Is a native of San Jose, Calif. Received a B.S. in Journalism (new-editorial and public relations focus) from the University of Oregon in 2004. Member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and the Alabama Sportswriters Association. Is a member of the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity.
