Competed in 11 meets throughout the season... Earned NCAA B cuts in the 100 breast (59.09) and the 200 breast (2:09.98)... Started the year with a second-place finish in the 100 breast (1:00.44) and a third-place effort in the 200 breast (2:13.56) at SMU... Grabbed wins in the 100 breast in dual meets versus Arkansas (1:02.39) and at Alabama (59.72)... Scored 34 points at the SEC Championships, finishing fifth in the 100 breast (59.09) and 17th in the 200 breast (2:09.98)... Added 102 points as part of the 200 medley relay (1:35.25), finishing third and the 400 medley relay (3:32.32), finishing sixth... Scored 11 points at the NCAA Championships, finishing eighth in the 100 breast (58.94) and 46th in the 200 breast (2:11.74)... Added 16 points as part of the 200 medley relay (1:35.97), finishing 15th and the 400 medley relay (3:29.45), finishing 11th for a pair of All-American Honorable Mention honors... Her 58.15 in the prelims of the 100 breast at the NCAA Championships reset the program record in the event... The 1:35.25 in the 200 medley relay at SECs set the school record in the event and the 3:29.83 at NCAAs in the 400 medley relay was the second-fastest time in program history.
2022-2023
Competed in nine meets throughout the season... Earned NCAA B cuts in the 100 breast (58.91) and 200 breast (2:09.35)... Earned dual wins in the 100 breast at LSU (1:01.13), versus Georgia Tech (1:02.84) and versus Alabama (59.88)... In total, found the podium seven times throughout the dual meet season... Scored 34 points at the SEC Championships, finishing fifth in the 100 breast (59.30) and 17th in the 200 breast (2:11.40)... Added 86 points as part of the 200 medley relay (1:36.02), finishing fourth and the 400 medley relay (3:33.65), finishing 10th... Qualified for the NCAA Championships, finishing 29th in the 100 breast (59.86) and 200 breast (2:14.90)... Scored six points as part of the 400 medley relay (3:31.34), finishing 14th for All-American Honorable Mention honors... Her 58.91 in the 100 breast set the new Auburn record in the event and her 2:09.35 in the 200 breast jumped Makarova to No. 5 all-time... The 1:36.02 in the 200 medley relay at SEC was the third-fastest time in program history and the 3:31.34 in the 400 medley relay at NCAAs was the eighth-fastest time in program history.
2021-2022
Competed in five meets throughout the season... Earned NCAA B cuts in the 100 breast (59.36) and 200 breast (2:11.47)... Grabbed a pair of podiums of her collegiate career in her first meet at Alabama in the 100 breast (1:01.45) and 200 breast (2:13.99)... Secured her first two collegiate wins at Florida in the 100 breast (1:00.41) and 200 breast (2:14.20)... Scored 20 points at the SEC Championships, finishing ninth in the 100 breast (59.36), 30th in the 200 breast (2:15.73) and 51st in the 100 fly (55.66)... Added 96 points as part of the 200 medley relay (1:35.96), finishing fourth and 400 medley relay (3:33.71), finishing ninth... Qualified for the NCAA Championships, finishing 20th in the 100 breast (59.48) and 52nd in the 200 breast (2:18.98)... Her 59.36 in the 100 breast made Anastasia the No. 2 performer all-time in program history and her 2:11.47 in the 200 breast jumped Makarova to No. 10 all-time... The 1:35.96 in the 200 medley relay at SECs was the second-fastest time in program history.
